That's why the Freedom States Alliance, a coalition of gun violence prevention groups, launched the "Come Together to Free America from Gun Violence Online Auction," to reverse this American nightmare.

In remembering the life and legacy of John Lennon and all victims of gun violence, we hope you'll place a bid on one of our auction items, or DONATE NOW to support our grassroots movement to reverse the tide of the gun violence epidemic.

Working together, we can strengthen the promise of America again by declaring freedom from gun violence. However, our declaration must be met with a solid commitment, both personally and financially, to enact a plan of action.

That commitment begins with you and me.

We urge you to support the Freedom States Alliance by making a generous contribution, and declare your freedom from gun violence. All proceeds from the auction go directly to our 9 affiliate state organizations.

We also accept checks and money orders made out to: Freedom States Alliance and mailed to: Freedom States Alliance, P.O. Box 618363, Chicago, IL 60661.

NOTE to winning bidders: The tax-deductible portion of your bid is the amount over the estimated value. In other words, if you purchase an online auction item for $110 on an item estimated or valued at $100, then only $10 can be counted as a tax-deductible contribution. If, however, you purchase an item for $90 that was estimated or valued at $100 – below the estimated or retail value – then no amount can be counted towards a tax-deductible contribution. All direct financial contributions -- for example, donating using the PayPal buttons above -- are 100% tax-deductible.
